إستغربت حركة المقاومة الإسلامية الفلسطينية (حماس) تصريحات المبعوث الأميركي إلى الشرق الأوسط ستيف ويتكوف التي أشارت إلى عدم رغبة الحركة في التوصل إلى وقف إطلاق نار في غزة، مؤكدة حرصها على مواصلة المحادثات بشأن اتفاق محتمل.
وأكدت حماس، في بيان، نقلته “رويترز”: “حرصها على استكمال المفاوضات والانخراط فيها بما يُساهم في تذليل العقبات والتوصل إلى اتفاق دائم لوقف إطلاق النار”.
